my 7 week old IRN wont sleep unless shes cuddled on my chest at night. Ive tried to put her in her cage and cover the cage with a towel but all she does is flap her wings on the side of the cage and it makes me take her back out again cos im scared she might injure herself with all the flapping........
please help any ideas on how i can fix this?
it will be very much appreciated!!

Re: please help need to change sleeping behaviour!
if you dont mind me asking the size of her cage? it should have enough space for her to flap without threat of injury, another question, are her wings clipped? at 7 weeks they are still learning and spend alot of time stretching their wings. perhaps do not let her cuddle on your chest until she is asleep as moving to her cage may disturb her and cause her to do this. Also, try covering her cage with something thicker, so it is completely dark for her, if she can see your shadows or even here you, may cause her to demand your attention. When you put her away, tell her Good Night, and cover her, and leave her.
Hope this helps
