i really need help.i had a pair of budgies.last week 1 died.so i decided to buy my kid an irn.i got it on tuesday.got it from the pet shop.they told me she is 7 weeks old and stil on porridge.i shud give poridge for bout another 2 weeks.but they neva realy showed me how to feed it.my wife and i hav been forcing its mouth open and just shovin the pipe down to feed it.but im realy nt hapy wit that.can somebody please help me.tel me how to feed and wen wil it start eating solids and wil it do that on its own.

Hiii. first off who sold the bird to you must show you and make sure you know how to feed the baby whith a syringe before u can even take the bird home. now if i were u i would go to a local bird store and ask them to show you how. this post is in the wrong section put it in the breeding section. also youtube videos about this try searching for how to feed bird with syringe or baby bird syringe feed. gooodluck.
