Is it a cold?

My IRN has a runny nose and is sneezing. Does she need to go to the vet, or can I wait a couple of days to see how she does?

Birds dont get colds, if she has any discharge from her nares she is ill and needs to go to the vet.

My girls sneeze but never any discharge.
If I saw any I would take them to the vet. Is it clear?

Chook sometimes sneezes on my face and its all wet - just like when a person sneezes on you. Yuck. Then again, he also dribbles on me and regurgitates....

As it turns out, she is just fine. The drainage from her nostrils stopped, and she is acting fine.
She was not ill, and I am glad I did not take her to the vet, because it gets very expensive.
I always go by her behaviour first!

That too is how I handle my babies. Unless I notice them acting really odd like just sitting at the bottom of the cage limb, Dr time. But if they are mostly fine, just a little off I leave them be.
Hope I never live to regret that.
