Urgent, Breeding my 2 IRNS

I am going to be a first time breeder and would like to ask experts on how its done,
I have my 2 IRNS, Jade and Sazu, I live in Canada and not really sure when breeding season
begins, they have been caged together for about 4 days now and seem to not be fighting or anything and
am still keeping a close eye, Jade was bought about 5 months ago the petstore told me she was hatched in June 2008,
Sazu has his ring and i bought about 5 days ago, when i first brought Sazu home i let them see each other with alot
of precaution and they have been doing their own thing lately, Sazu yesterday scratched Jade's head and she just got
freaked out when she realized what was happening, but they havent fought once, Sazu only decides to steal Jade's seeds
and Jade doesnt seem to mind, but i dont see them interacting that much unless its from them eating an apple or something big.
Does anyone have any suggestions on when they will bond, or start breeding?
I need urgent help, please.

wait until you see them sleeping close to one another and see the male feeding the female before you put up the nest box and the breeding season is about to start which is late winter early spring good luck mike :)

i put the box in way before i see the male feeding the female. i would actually put the box in asap so they are used to it being there first time breeding. The hen needs to explore what the box is and how safe it is to lay the eggs.

Hi,

You should not expect further interaction till breeding time (I guess for Canada ... mars-april)

Thanks I will try and check for the signs of that, and i have already put the nest in the box, so she gets use to it.
The first time she saw it she got scared but we'll see.
