update on the new girl
i got her home at about 9 yesterday morning
by 2 pm she was eating vocalising & making goo goo eyes at her new man (skeet)
who for the first time in his life has been doing the love dance to another bird!!!!
normaly he has only done the dance for my benifit
on another note i havent actually seen any eggs yet from riku & lala but every time i look in the boxe lalal is in exactly the same position so im no0t sure if its there arnt any or shes hiding them
but last night when i did final rounds i did catch them in the act
so hopefully bubbies soon!!!!!!!

Can you tell me what the love dance looks like? I have a feeling my one-and-a-bit year old male may be doing the love dance for my two-and-a-bit year old female but I'm not sure if that's what he is doing or not.

he opens his wings slightly so they almost look like a heart then he kind of bows there are some posts in the video forum of it

Thanks. Yes, that's what Charlie is doing... Even though we had DNA tests done to confirm they were male and female, part of me was worried that they might have been wrong... so I guess if he is displaying this kind of behaviour, he must be a male.

Skeet is a bit of a casanova now.

yep dads repairing the nest box that skeet was born in for them to have
it realy reminds me of kieron & orchid the way the 2 of them look at each other
(small sad momment here) but its cool to see my little boy so happy with her!
