IRNS *usually* fledge around 7 weeks and wean around 8-9 weeks. This is just a GUIDE. If your baby wants to eat sooner then by all means let him eat. Weaning takes TIME not just a week but until your satisfied the bird is eating enough on it's own. Dont force your baby to wean early just because your sick of feeding him. Just think, at least it's only three times a day not every three hours
