Hey Ya'll:

Dash to your neighborhood Super Wal-Mart store for .88 cent toys for babies and dogs that are PERFECT for Indian Ringnecks.

They will be kept by the registers so just ask a cashier where the .88 cent boxes of misc. dog and baby toys are. All stores got over-shipped so we are all in luck. I URGE you to take advantage of this. STRONGLY. My babies love each toy they received. And, oddly enough, they all have hangers for the cage. (Look for the little black hangies at the top of them. It can best be seen in the fish and elephant)

The top ones in the pic are for hanging. The bottom row of toys is for the bottom of the cage. My babies LOVE each and every one of them, especially slinging the baby rattles.

Hope you get to score as I did. If not, and would like to, let me know what you want and I will get it and ship it to you. This is TOO good to be true or to pass up. We can do something through paypal or whatever.

All three of my babies play with these toys more than there bird toys. They love slinging around the baby keys and rattles and hanging from the other things as they try to eat it.

All of these toys for 'at' 10 bux. Plus tax and so forth.

Let me know if you have trouble viewing or have more questions on how to score a deal of a lifetime :!:

Why are you still online!? HURRY!

I find our second hand and op shops have a huge range of babies toys. Just sterilise and away you go. Most only charge 10c - 50c per babies rattle or crib chains, even toy trains for them to ride on and such for a couple of bucks - and then the salvo's or savers just bag them up into bunches and sell em for $1 or $2 per big bag of toys, I love it !! And the supermarkets always have bargain trollies. Thanks for the offer anyway.

Cheers !

I have 4 human boys and it is fairly safe for me to say: I dont want my birds mouth on anything a child has handled. No telling where that object has been.

My five year old just started this "Smell my finger" thing. You dont want to know what was on it but know this, if a 5 yr old asks you to smell something, PASS.

With steralization you run a risk, even if a slight one with say vinegar for example, of making your bird sick or dead. That and vinegar sticks worse than bleach.

I am hyper-sensitive about my birdies. Although I know vinegar would be fine, it stinks. Small parts of bleach smells better when dried but even trace amounts could be really tragic.

I have heard good things about those home steamers though. Im going to check those out in the near future. I plan to use it to steralize their cages.

Any members use one? Love it or not so much?

Well, I rushed to my Walmart on Monday and found the boxes. There was not the same variety, and I looked in ALL the boxes. Got a good many though. Thanks for the tip! Do any of you make toys yourselves?

I buy a whole heap of things from the opportunity shops here for 5c and 10c , sometimes they even have a "fill up a bag for $1" sale and then at home I cut break and remake them into other toys to suit.

I've used a steamer. Sent it back. A whole lot of trouble for nothing much.

I really wouldn't worry about vinegar. Bleach is worse. To me bleach just smells worse too. May be just be though, lol.

Why not try GSE? Totally safe and kills more than bleach will. Even some hospitals have begun using the stuff. (Grapefruit seed extract, comes concentrated)

Here is a web-site that I use for natural, safe non chemical cleaning product called Terra-cleanse. And veggie cleanse. Go to [www.Avianmedicinechest.com ... And GSE Or Grapefruit Seed Extract is a very effective germacide and perfectly safe to use in your parrot cage and to disinfect with. No oder, a little goes a long ways.

If your looking for a product to kill germs and not smell awful, thats also good and safe around birds...

Try Pet Focus. Its fantastic. I couldnt live without it. Even my vet loves that stuff.
