New IRN owner - rescue

Hello,
My name is Sue, and I live in the Kansas City, MO area.
I just adopted my first ringneck male from a rescue service. We get him today.
He's not tame anymore, sounds like he's been passed from one house to another w/ people who really didn't want him. No one is clear on his story - as most rescue cases go.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to getting him and working with him - it's been a long time since I've had birds in the house, it will be nice to interact.
Cheers,
Sue
