dishwashing liquid

Post by Elivia »

i was washing the dishes tonight and Bluey jumped into the water! I am worried about the dishwashing liquid as i tried to wash him down (from the saop suds) but he would not let me near him. He loves his bathtime but he has never jumped into a sink full of soap suds before. Thankgod it was at the end of my dishes as the water was lukewarm by then.

Anybody had a bad reaction with dishwashing liquid and their bird? :?: :?: :?:

I have never had that happen.
I think for the short time he was in the soapy water, he would be ok.
Just rinse him well if you can.

Maybe he wanted a bubble bath.

i don't think it can do any harm , some people use it to wash their dogs and even their hairs .

yeah it was pink devil
and i agree as long as its rinsed off he should be fine i had a kitten do a similar thing one (launched out of my arms into the sink) he was fine (mind you his mum blamed my daughter & spent the next three days attacking her for it
it was so funny the poor kid had to wear a wig & sunglasses to be able to be in the same room as our grumpy mummy puss!!!!!
