i wouldnt personally trust a dog with a bird because its very likely that the dog would injure or kill the bird

Depends on the dog(s) and bird.... but I wouldn't suddenly let them all out together, have it in a cage and see the dogs reaction. My dog was very excited over my bird but soon got bored especially after my IRN grabbed his nose He lets Gomez run all over him now, being a Chihuahua most wouldn't count him as a dog anyway! My cat on the other hand is a different matter!
