Hi costalbird,

nice website. But here are some suggestions for improvment.
And please take it as a friendly advise. :)
The pictures are blured and of a bad quality. So please try to make them
of superior quality (if you still own the originals). :)
Next: i think not all birds are discribed correctly. for examble the 0,1 cobalt near the bottom
is for my eyes not a cobalt. right?

greetings.

Hi
Ive taken a million photos and hard to get them sitting still, they always move
That hen is a cobalt definately, some colours are not true in the photos, some lighter some darker.
Hardest thing to take a photo of is birds for true colours and getting them still.

Thats complety right. But the picture quality is really bad.

Here are some examples of pictures i took:

for comparison one of your pics:

I think the problem is the to high jpg compression when the pictures were cut and saved.
So try to resave as jpg with high quality (100%). The file size will still be small. A nice freeware program for this purpose
is paint .net.

One more hint: the pictures of the mainpage are not thumbnails. so they load slower.

Greetings.

Yes quality is the issue but here in Australia many still use dialup.
Your photos are like 400k plus which for 5.6k dialup it would take along time to veiw images which mean almost 1 mintue for photo to open.
Im still playing with my website but dont want to disturb my birds as our breeding season is very close.
Maybe after it i can get better photos for my site.
Cheers
