I am sitting here with a telefon nr, to a bredder of indian ringnecks.
But I don´t think I can call him, I am too shy
I am very sad at the moment, every time I find a bredder, they don´t right back or they just say **** of..
Not very nice...
I don´t now wat to do ???

Hi well Im new to owning or should I say caring for an IRN and I love it.

It really boils down to how much your truely wish to have an IRN and only you can determine how much effort you think its worth. As for a breeder telling you to F off I would suggest that they are not where you would like to buy from anyhow.

I would just keep ringing round and perhaps tell us where you are from as there may be a member here who is from near your location who could recommend a reputable breeder to you.

If your to shy to ring the breeder then get a friend to ring them for you.

try saying something like this:

Hi my name is ...... Im ringing about your ad for indian ringnecks, would you still have any available?

If they say yes: you say fantastic would it be possible for me to see some pics or for me to visit you?

If they say no: ask if they may have any coming up or would they possibly know anyone that would have some for sale.

i know how you feel about having to wait for so long, i had wanted a handraised IRN since 2005 and i finally got one
if a breeder is telling you to F off then they ovusually are not a very nice person and probaly wouldnt care much about there birds so it wouldnt be a good idea to ever get one from them.
just write down what you want to say and know and go from there, i no its hard but imagine how worth it it will be if they have a baby IRN that you fall inlove with

I am from Denmark, I have been loking for a indian ringneck since 2008.
But I havent found any bredders

Now i have my questions ready for the breeder to anwser.
I will be calling him tumorow
Hopes he won´t bidt my head of, when i ask him if he handfeds his birds
I be reding the hole konvacetion tumorow, if i survive

But now my mom is in dout, how are theyre personalities ???
I now it come on the bird how it was raisd, and that they show theres personalities as they grow...

Its never a bad idea to get a bird as long as you will look after it and give it attention.
makes sure you have room for the cage and will have money for toys and food
every ringnecks personality is different
mine loves me talking to her and being near her, she loves all the attention she can get and shes not even hand tamed yet
she makes a lot of noises but is usually only very noisey when the sun comes up and goes down.
just let her know that your going to give it attention, feed it, clean up its mess and love it no matter what happens! (this is how i get my mum to keep letting me get more birds )
find a baby that you fall in love with straight away and you cant really go wrong!

my mum used to hate pet birds but now she loves mine. They have their own personalities and can talk and interact pretty well. if you go to the vid section on here and on youtube there is a fair few indian ringneck videos that show some of their personalities.

Ofcurse I will take care of it , like i take care of my lovebirds.
Anyway she has gone to argrie to go to some breeders with me, and second it is my apartment
I will give it lots of love and attencion and i can afort toys and a good cage, and good food for it.
I have all my idears on paper, how the cage sout be and the hole thing.
I can´t wait to see my indian ringneck for the først time weee
