hi to all

hi im greg,new to ringnecks and the forum..i have statred a collection of aviary birds,i have a new bird i found by chance,very unusual,i have been told its possibly pied or a grizzel..ill try post a pic.there is no history on it as it came from a dealer and no records of were it came from..look forward to finding out a lot from you guys,any help would be great,,thanks all.

Welcome! your birds are beautiful! it will be interesting to hear what they say about your "pied". i don't know much about their colors.

Welcome to our little place on the web! We look forward to hearing more about your birds. There is a lot of information throughout the site and on this forum. So many wonderful people here.

I am sure once you really start to research you'll love ringnecks EVEN more! They are like chips--once you start you keep going and going. :wink:

There are all kinds of pied, your IRN has some beautiful markings. I have not heard of grizzel before so cannot comment on that :-)

hey thanks for the pied pics..there is a grizzel on here http://home.wanadoo.nl/psittaculaworld/ ... rameri.htm its a recessive and the male loses its markings when it gets it ring,id never heard of it before either. :D thanks again
