Travel cages

Post by Datsun and Family »

What do you use to take your birdies out, to the vet, park, friends house....?

My birds and Datsun especially come all over the place with me. Datsuns carrier or 'car-seat' as we call it is a cat cage with a plastic base and wire top. She has her food and water and a perch inside and I move the bowls to the outside if we go somewhere like the park and she sits on top of the cage. Datsun loves her carseat so much if we leave it out she jumps on or in it and tells us to "come on"

Audi and Chevys cages are the same, a mouse cage converted. It is small but they still have plenty of room and I would feel comfortable taking just these if we had to take them away for a weekend or so.

As you can imagine when we take all 3 of them out there is no room for anyone else to come along, except maybe bun (rabbit) who shares with Datsun if she comes too. All cages get buckled in and they taske up our whole back seat!

So now your turn, what do you use? Photos if you have any too!

These cages are great ideas. I will have to keep these in mine, except here in the States, I have never seen a "cat cage."
