Becoming flighted

So This morning, Sunni has been walking around on the floor, playing with her toys, and she started jumping, flying for a few feet and landing carefully. We think she is practicing her landing.
I am so glad my baby is learning to fly. Makes a momma proud!

That's great, hopefully she will be zooming around like a fighter jet in no time.

Our bird was still a bit unco at landings when we got him, he would overshoot the curtain rails sometimes and always landed on your head. It really scared visitors having a bird zoom down and splat onto their heads!
We were so proud the first time he figured how to hover and bank to get to a shoulder instead.
