Now, I think this year is his first "fully adult" year. I know they are capable of breeding younger, however that doesn't mean they are ready. Kind of like teenagers

He's always gone through the motions of feeding me, which I've always accepted with grace. After all, its an honor right?
Last night, he made the motions and I told him "Good Boy!" then he stuck a beak full of food between my lips! Eck! Eww! Yuckyoooo! I wiped it away and stared at him with a mixture of awe (my baby is grown up!) and disgust. Predigested pellets do not taste good.
I had to keep distracting him for another 30 minutes, because he would fly to my shoulder, coo for my attention and then do his darnedest to feed me. I kept telling him "I'm full, not hungry, nope nope nope!" while Mike cackled with glee watching me try to avoid a mouth full of bird goop and not hurt Buddy's feelings.
I have a feeling this is going to get worse before it gets better. His hormones have just "clicked" .... he only made one run at Mike last night (dive bomb attack bird) and when he's in full swing Mike cant even share a room with him. I need to start wearing a surgical mask to protect my mouth LOL!
