Eye color

Does]eye color change with age? we have a 3month old IRN with dark iris, can't see much but black. Will the iris lighten as time goes on?

It will lighten. The man at the bird pet store in my area just told me this week that you can get an idea of how old a baby bird is by seeing if his eyes have lightened at all. At first they are all black.

I have a blue IRN.... he has blue eyes

What color eyes do the other mutations have?? blue also?..

like, right now i'm looking at a huge picture of an IRN at the top of this screen..
the bird is green but he looks blue eyed

Mine is green with black and a light blue ring around the black.
