Albino Female

Post by jake3944 »

I have purchased a female Albino Indian Ringneck, and I am looking to purchase a mate for her. What could I pair her with to get the maximum amount of mutations in offspring? I'm trying to learn how these genetics work but it's hard lol

Being new to the sport, you should be made aware that Ino is a dead end. You will have a hard time selling any Inos or split Inos or possible split Inos in the future. For the pet bird market, no worries, however no serious breeder wants Ino in his birds in the long term. Same goes for Pallid IMO. You should be looking for Blues, IndigoBlues, TurquoiseBlues (making sure they are not split or possible split Ino or Pallid) which are relatively cheap, then you could move into Violet or Cobalt to further enhance what you have. Ino is pretty but also pretty worthless IMO.
