I have bought a new Blue IRN 5 months old and we bought him/her for our other male green IRN and they are slightly fighting. I really want to stop this..Any advice?
And also the blue one which I don't know the gender it has bigger feet than the male and a different voice the the male. Could she be a girl?
Quick answer- they shouldn't be together right now.
Imagine someone you trust taking you and shoving you into a room with a total stranger and told you have to share your food, space, and even your bed with them. Think you would get along right away?
But maybe if you had rooms next to each other for a while and spoke every day, perhaps you would get along after some time.
Just because they are the same species does not mean they will get along. Caging them together can lead to bullying, injury or possibly death for one of the birds if they fight a lot or one always hogs the food dish.
Separate cages are the way to go for now.
I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

Okay Thank you for your advice I was thinking to cage them but now I've changed my mind. But my green parrot is still jealous of my new IRN...
