Scratching and Digging

Now that I have let Beanie(IRN) play amongst the tiels and conure, she always heads into the conures cage which has no grate in the bottom. She lifts the newspapers up on the bottom of the cage and crawls underneath them. Then she starts scratching and digging at them. She will do this for hours at a time. When she comes out she has a black head and back from the newsprint. Any idea what she is doing? Is this a nesting procedure or something?

Sounds like he sure would LIKE the idea but Im not so sure thats what he is doing.

Conures are energetic and colorful, more than a ringecks curiousity can take lol.

How old is she?

Sounds like nesting behaviour or she could just be having fun.
