color change with move to aviary

I recently moved my female ringneck to an outdoor aviary. She has begun to show different coloration...she is 5 years old and has always been the common green. She is now showing some darker feathers, almost like a pie bald? Is this something anyone has noticed? She is healthy and loving outside...just wondering about the change in color.

Is it cooler outside?, the darker plumage may be growing to keep her warm. Sanjay seems to have become much lighter since I got him.He was aviary hatched and emerald green at 8 wks, an indoor companion he is 2 and a bit now, and almost lutino in places.
