Can my ringneck still talk?

Ive just found out that my ringneck sunny who i was told was 6 months old is actually over 2 years old can i still train him to talk at this age or am i wasting my time?

I've heard that it's much more difficult to train them once they're older but it's not impossible, If you go to youtube and look up some people who talk to their IRN's you'll see the way they talk to them, Keep it simple and repeat the words, But keep a nice variety.

I've read repeating the same phrase over and over can cause the bird to think it's just general background noise and they will ignore it, so keep changing it up!
