My babies love to bathe. If I'm not on top of it (I only bathe them once a week since it's winter and freezing here) they will try to bathe themselves in their water. Which Remmi can do since he drinks from a bowl, but Byndi drinks from a bottle and it's quite funny to see him try to bathe with the bottle. They both prefer to be misted from a spray bottle and LOVE to be blown dry.

Dats enjoys both and begs for a bath whenever she hears a tap on. If I dont spray her then she gets in her water bowl.

Baby would rather I spray her as she turns and raises her wing so Mommie can 'get those stinkie baby armpits'.

I use to think this was cute, now I think... why doesnt anyone do this for me? I'd be stinkin to high heaven and all I'd get is 'Ma, whats that smell?' Although Im 30ish, Im already looking into my elderly care. These kids will leave me with bad backlighting and chaffon.

If I go a day or two without spray bathing her she resorts to doing it herself but HATES it initially. Once she is wet though, she turns all upside down and crazy acting.

Her antics in water is very 'sun conureish'... if that makes any sense.

Dont noone get offended... but IRNs are very proud and dignified whereas conures are more silly and playful. IRNs seem like they should have a martini and cigar or something. hehe

Never let um see ya sweet!

Jordan LOVES to be sprayed. Scared of the whole body of water thing so far. Kai enjoys a spray and will , if really in the mood bath in a bowl. But mostly I catch him desperately trying to achieve a good result from his drinking water. sigh!

Mine all love the shower. On me or on the bath caddy thing (so they have a place to perch)... they dive in and soak themselves.

Buddy will take a bath in a big bowl of water... if I'm willing to mist him at the same time.

Try running the vacuum ... the sound of it stimulates many many birds into bathing.
