Baby's a boy?
No way, I'll freak.
Havent I learned that boys bob? She has started this bobbing her head thing when she is happy or excited.
Shes been doing it often for about a week. Or could it be just because she has had alot more cage time because Ive been sick?

*hugs Neo sooooo tight*
Girl, I was tripping! lol
But she does the first vid thing. Like just a little bobbing sorta thing.
I thought, for some reason, I had learned that was a male trait.
I have always interacted with her as a girl, it would mess with my head if she turned out to be a boy.
Any of you ever been really attached to an IRN and interacted with it as if it were one sex to find out later it was another?
What's that like?

Once they do video number two It's pretty clear that they are male. As you can see there chicken didnt have his ring then and we were absolutely sure he was a boy back then.
Dont get this confused with just pinning and regurgitating because Yuki is a girl and she did that to me a few times. Yuki also chatters like mad too. However the wings dont come out and she doesnt put her head to the ground and do that kind of chirp and jump stuff.

kai does the strutt along the perch and tap the beak (like your second video) making kinda quacking noises. He also flirst with his banana's toy and does this .. arch the neck put the shoulders of his wings out and bob/wobble the head from side to side.
the top three vids at - http://www.dropshots.com/kyria - show it.
He has no ring, is only 15 months old, but myself and Jeremy are pretty damn sure he's a boy now.

You can...
Go to www.avianbiotech.com and look at the info on DNA sexing.
I prefer using a blood card, but thats because I do toenails myself all the time so a little bleeding is no biggie for me LOL.
Just so you know, you don't have to fill the whole circle on the blood card. Its fine to get that much blood from say.. a macaw... but ringnecks are much smaller. I fill about 1/3 of the circle and its enough.
You can use the feather method.. but you have to pluck (I think 3) feathers from your bird and mail them in right away. Personally I hate to pluck feathers... so I don't do that.
