leaving the food

so i feed my IRN seeds mixed with some shredded veggies like (carrots, zucchini, & green beans) the thing is that i leave it out all night with him in the cage because im scared he will go hungry while im sleeping, is that the right thing to do? or should i take away the food before he goes to sleep?

I leave food in my birds' cage overnight. Re the veges, you may want to remove them if they've spoilt in the heat of the day.
