Amber,
Breeding tame Indian Ringnecks is a common question. From my personal experience I can tell you that I had little luck breeding my pet ringnecks. I have a few in my aviary that are handfed and set up for breeding. They seem to never produce babies and only produced duds. So from my experience, I would say the chances are slim but it can happen. In fact, we have a few members here who have successfully bred there tame Indian ringnecks. From my perspective, it seems to be a problem with pet female ringnecks as they seem to be more interested in humans rather than their own partners. Every time I walk up to my hand fed pair my female always seems more interested in me and starts to attack her mate when I'm around.
But as far as taming is concerned, I think once ringnecks have been handfed and have had time to imprint on humans, they will always remain tame. My females and males never lose their attraction for human affection, even ones that I've handfed and placed in an aviary immediately after weaning. So yes, taming can be maintained.
I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to ask!
