IRN upside down

Post by imdnt »

Hey Guys,

Got this curious question.

Bravo is one of our tame IRN's and I can get him to lie on this back unrestricted until I get up:

He tells me about his day whilst I give him a gentle head/neck/beak massage and usually falls asleep. The longest he's been in this position is 30min.

Is there a max amount of time a bird can be in this position? He doesn't bit or squirm when he's there so there's no discomfort.

Hey Tropical1979,

Over this past year I've learnt he's happy in this position.

Love the pic of your Alexandrine! We've got a 3month old and is loving his cuddle time but boy can he eat! :)
