hey everyone! this a.m., i spoke with a lady who is fostering another rescued IRN (blue); apparently, he's just over a year old ... just got his ring ... she has several birds & they're all flighted, so i asked that she clip this one's wings before i take him ... he isn't tame yet, so i need the clipped wing thingie so that i might work with him better ... i only hope that he & my Gina/Gino will get along OK ... any pointers on introducing them would be VERY helpful.
Gina's cage is HUGE ... a corner cage, 40" deep, 68" wide & 72" tall ... so i don't think that will be a problem ... 'course, Gina only goes in her cage at night or if i'm not at home.
anyway, i've been putting off this phone call 'til the holidays were over so that i can spend some quality time with the both of these gorgeous birds. i hope that i'm not taking on too much!
