hi breht
firstly, every bird has its own personality. No one can answer outright yes or no to your title question. You indicated that you are unaware of your irn's sex so i'd like to ask a few questions:

-where did you purchase your irn?
-how old was your irn when you get it?
-do you wear perfumes/nail varnish/hair spray?
-has your bird gone through the bluffing stage yet?

Thanks
Phil

I purchased from a friend of a friend when the bird was young not sure how old(feathered)
I do wear perfume and nail polish occasionally but hates me all the time
No sure if the bird has been though bluffing has been like this most the time i hav had it. And kind of thought if it was bluffing it may be a more on and off kind of thing.

it;l WANT u to come to it.

I had this problem with my sun conure at one point, he loved my husband more than me and didn't want to spend time with me when he was around. I had him step back for a while.. I took over and was the only one giving him treats, and changing his food and water, offering him baths, etc. It may take some time but he will see that good things come when you're around, and will want to spend more time with you as a result. :)
Also, how old is your bird? A lot can depend on age because it could be something he will likely grow out of if you're making the effort.
You should make every effort you can to SOCIALIZE this bird, as in have him spend quality time with every member living in your home and the people that visit it. This will create a confident and friendly bird that isn't afraid of new people and experiences. My 7 month old ringneck loves everyone that comes over because he is introduced and allowed to explore them. Let me know how it goes! Trust me, I've been there!!

Another thing to remember is that you should never allow the bird to OVER bond with a particular person, because this can cause negative jealous and protective behavior, for example the bird trying to bite you when you're in the room while he's trying to "protect" or "defend" your boyfriend. Over bonding should be avoided.

Well when you say that the bird doesn't like you, what exactly do you mean? Does the bird attack you or lunge to bite? What are the indicators that make you believe that the bird doesn't like you?

Its head puffs as soon as a walk in the room, lashes out like biting if i walk near the cage, passes back and forth on perch, bites if try pick up, will be fine sitting on me for ages then will turn angry and bite out of no wher, chases my feet if its walking on the ground
And can be ok to me but hardly ever!! Like a few times
