My Ringneck has formed a fascination with my labret stud. He crawls on my shoulder and reaches around to my lip and tries to pull it out. Has anyone else had something similar happen? Do they normally have a fascination with jewellery?

I used to have my labret pierced too and Jibby loved talking to it then he'd attack it, not much fun for me. I know some people wear a special necklace for bird to play with while sitting on your shoulder. Might be a distraction from your face?

I don't wear necklaces or earrings near mine just in case although I know someone who has trained her birds to ignore jewellery.
