Post by sections »

Hi all im Marco and im new to the site. I have had my green female (Frankie) now for 18 months and have had my male (Hank) for about 8 months. He was a foster child. I was not aware there where so many mutations of irn's and im now wondering what colour my male is. Any way here are my babies.

Sorry I cannot answer the question- but welcome to the board! If you post in the mutations section of the forum, the breeders who hover around there should be able to answer your question more fully. :)

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay

Thanks for the suggestion, I have taken some better photos with a dig slr which are allot clearer so i will post the in the mutation section later when i get home from work. The main reason i am wanting to know is because he has mated with my female and she is currently sitting on 2 eggs (due for another today) so i would like to know what colours to expect.

Beautiful! He looks like a normal blue to me, but I am certainly no expert in this area. Congrats on your eggs! Are they fertile?

Thanks Melika. I am not sure if they are fertile as i have not candled them. This is the females first session breeding so im leaving them to do there thing, though i should know in the next 4-8 day cause they are due to hatch. She has been sitting very well and keeps them all nicely together and warn so hopefully all goes well.
