Good Morning Ya'll:

'05? Er, always takes me 'til February to get this down.

Well, another week ahead of us, lets make it a good one! Get those last minutes Christmas (holiday) tasks wrapped up, keep your head up and a smile on your face.

Please be safe over the next two weeks, we will all be having alot of holiday parties so be good :!: Look out for your friends because we dont let them drink and drive. Look out for yourself... no DUI's needed.

Lastly, remember what the season truly means. Jesus was born. I know kids upwards of 10 that have NO CLUE Christmas is a celebration of the birth of Christ, thereby turning into a commercial retail business that saves companies asses right when they need it most... the end of the year. This burns my ****.

I implore you to ask your children what Christmas means. If they cant tell you, you have some work to do and it cant be done at the mall.

I love all of you SO MUCH. I will miss everyone as the holidays tend to takes us away from our online friends.

I hope you all get EVERYTHING YOU WANT and NOTHING YOU NEED :!:

Merry Christmas,

~ Mikaela

I couldn't agree more Mikaela! What a nice sentiment! And I loved what you wrote about getting what you want and not what you need. That's so true. I too, wish you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Thank you all so much for being out there for us when we needed you! You guys are the best and I appreciated every single one of you who has been there for me time and again!

Hugs,
Jen, Byndi, and Remmi

The board has been a little dead lately... does that mean all of Santas elfs are otherwise occupied?

Not to be a scrooge but I cant wait to see January the 2nd. Like a dream, it will all be over. A bad dream -sigh-

Unfortunately, I ended up in an all out fist fight pumping gas yesterday. Long story but it is never a good idea to under-estimate your opponent. She thought she was going to take a little of her holiday stress out on me cuz I dont weight a buck soaking wet. Well, I left her knocked da f*ck out in the parking lot, pumped my gas and slid my info into her pocket encouraging her to press charges.

As a former criminal defense attorney, I knew I had to allow/push hehe her to hit me first. She was about 5'7 170 pds. Im 5'4 90 pds so it wasnt hard to do. Bitch spit on me and I laid her out cold. Her legs buckled and she went night-night. Spitting is a MUCH more serious charge than hitting someone because the AIDS virus can be passed.

I PRAY the law comes knocking on my door. I will fry that ho like a potato on the grill. I have my witnesses names and numbers. All she has is a huge lacking of pride, a real sense of where road rage will get you should you run across a buck-wild crazy **** like me and a two black eyes for her Christmas photos. Merry Christmas Hunny! Looking good.

I blacked both of her eyes because I punched her dead in the center of the nose. Then after she buckled to the ground I gave her a few poundings with my Prada until some guy picked me up off of her saying "Ok Ok yall are even now... she spit on you, you laid her out. You won RUN!" haha The poor fella was literally holding me like a child lol.

I left my info with that guy and told him to give it to her when and if she woke up, I'd LOVE to see her in court. ENCOURAGE her to press charges... I miss eating people alive legally.

It is sort of like being able to legally beat someone up on Jerry. But much worse, they are left with no pride and a record.

OMG 1167 posts? I gotta stop being the welcome wagon... thats pure embarrassing.

Jen: You are now the official welcomer... care for the job? It consists of watching the board and welcoming each new member. PM me and let me know. This is important because we dont want new members to post and not be welcomed, thereby giving me a rediculous amount of posts.

Anyone else that would like to help her, it would be very much appreciated. It is all of our responsibility to build this board and to do so we must be there for new member or they wont come back.

Mikaela kicked some booty! Mikaela kicked some booty! Good for you. I think a lot of us wish we could do that when people disrespect us. I know I for one would love the opportunity.... and I've come close. I only let people push me so far and then I snap too. "Tis the season!" People just get so, ...... what's the word I'm looking for?? Having worked 15 years of retail and having to deal with the general public this time of year, not so nice. So when you're out shopping and there are long lines or they are out of what you want/need, don't take it out on the store personnel. Not their faults! I've had many people yell, scream, call me names simply becuz they waited to shop or we were out of something. Nothing that was MY fault! Keep that in mind. Retail is a job. I know a lot of people don't think it's "real" work, but it is very hard, demanding work. You not only have your store duties to get done in a certain amount of time, you have to wait on the annoying, demanding, RUDE general public. This being said I shall once again step off of my soap box and wish you all the merriest of Christmases--hoping that term doesn't offend anyone!
Love and hugs,
Jennifer

Merry Christmas

It is 10 pm on Christmas Eve and I am just wrapping the last of the presents (had to wait till the fids were in bed) and then pack their bags of toys, food..... for our big day tomorrow.

James, the kids and I are dropping off the lorikeets to their new mum in the morning. Then we will be goin to my Grandparents house where we will do the present thing and eat all day long. We are not religious but we are a very close family and we spend the day chatting and playing games and basically having a great day with our family and anyone who has nowhere else to go.

It is my birdies first Christmas and I am sooooo excited for them!!!!

I hope everyone has a perfect day tomorrow, I love you all and I wish we could all be together on such a beautiful day.... so we will be, in each others thoughts. Enjoy my friends as in a few hours it will all be over and we will be preparing for next year

Give each of your babies a Christmas kiss from Datsun and Aunty Chamon.

NO FAIR :!:

Just because Chamon lives an ocean away doesnt mean Santa should go see her first! Damn time zones. Grrrr

Well, I WAS going to have a little surprise for the big man in red (Mrs Claus doesnt do her homework, afraid Santa will think she is a bad girl).

Ohhh but not now, he can get him some New Zealand booty. He seems to prefer that anyway... he cant get there fast enough!

*pouts and rolls her eyes at Chamon and Santa as they make out*

Oh... and Imma tell yo man too gurl!

It is finally over... Yay! Gosh you should have seen the trash, paper and boxes.

Say a prayer for our garbage men this week, it isnt going to be pretty for them.

The board has been slow, understandably but I miss ya'll and hope it gets back to normal soon.

Hope Santa was good to you!

I cant imagine anyone wanting to pick on Mikaela she's so cute and sweet you just wanna give her a big hug.

All three of my adult-ish ringnecks are sitting on the table this evening. Chomping food, toys and my phone. Kiva is growing two sparkling new tail feathers. Yuki is very friendly she bites a bit but nothing to draw blood. She has a toes fetish. I got a video of her this morning chasing jays toes to give them a good chomp. Growls is being a bit skittish lately, but I'm sure he will come round and be the mommys bird he always was.

Christmas was so-so did the whole family thing. So over it now lol. Back to spending all my time with the birdies.

That is why Neo, she wanted to 'get some out' and she sized me up and thought "Ooooh, easy target".

Boy did SHE understimate me.

It aint the size of the dog, rather the size of the fight in the dog.

Assuming this rings true, I am a pitbull. I chose to use my power for good

Morning yall:

Man, I dont want to call this woman and tell her 'that'. Either I am nowhere near as mature as I assume I am OR I dont deal with 'that' well.

I feel stuck, what do I say? I know she is going to freak... I have too much of that going on with me. She is very sensitive and already dealing with 'that' in another animal.

At least I have answers for her but her questions will be many. And at least she knew she had a good mom. Will I get standoffish? I dont know.

She may go into a pure booo hoo on the floor. Her ol'man says she is VERY sesitive to animals which is why she cant have anymore.

I WANT to do the wrong thing yall but is it because I am a coward or to save her pain? My husband said he would call her and I bout jumped over the couch NOO NOO lets let this simmer.

So am I saving my feelings or hers? C'mon... hit me with your best shot. Be it good or bad, we are all friends here and have the right to get someone on track with a decision they are struggling with.

I probably already know... few examples...

Jen: Oh hun, take your time and tell her as fast as possibile but when YOU can (she is the sweet, calm, patient one.

Chamon: Hun, you have dealth with this a few days, if it were one of my previous babies, I would want to know. You can do it, call her. (she is like the Mommie on the board, wise beyond her years and would starve to give, until you screw her, then you're done)

Neo: Call the damn woman girl, dont be a puss. Pick up the phone and tell her the damn bird died and both of you NEED to get over it (she is a mirror image of me, sees things clear as day, dont sugar-coat much and is down to business)

I could go on but those were just off the top of my head... so come on ya'll. Kick me til I do what I need to DO!

Mikaela you really do have to tell her. If you don't feel right now this second is good then wait a week or so but you have to tell her. This isn't something you can keep from her previous owner. She has a right to know and she gave you the bird to take care of and keep updated with. Please tell her...even if you have to e-mail her or call her or write her through snail mail but you have to explain that it was nothing you did and that the bird was 20 years old and had a heart attack.

It's gonna be hard but it is something you took on when you decided to take that bird into your home. Your responsibility and you must do this to get some sort of closure. You have all my support over here.

(Don't be pissed at my bluntness...it's the truth. )

your thinking too much girl gonna drive yourself silly. its all understandable, but for YOU do it sooner than later

that sounds good.. & if she needs more she can call. I can see two women oh the phone sensitive to the subject matter, I'd loose it and forget all i was going to say.

sorry I'm bored today so i've been online most of it

She does need to know and the longer you wait the harder it will be. You pretty much summed me up in your post.

If you were her would you be more upset if someone had waited weeks before telling you?

I think you should tell her whatever way you can but do it soon. E-mail isnt to impersonal but it may be months before she reads it and you would have to say I just didnt know how to tell you so I took chicken way... are you a chicken? Hell no!

I know you can do this, you are one of the stongest people I know. You can not drag this out, both of you need closure and nothing was your fault so you have nothing to fear. You gave that baby the best home imaginable and loved her till the end and some.

Pick up that phone...

I havent heard from her but maybe thats good, she'll read it tomorrow and may not associate it with a holiday.

She is SO sweet, bless her heart, she send Boo a package for Christmas. It almost gave me a nervous break-down to receive it but how frigging sweet it that?

I have it all boxed still. Didnt want to 'back to sender' because she is a good person and that would hurt her. I will send it back once I know SHE knows.

Sorry I have been away, little down lately so been painting until my fingers are raw.

Ya'll seen my bedroom since I did it? Just got done with 2 of the bathrooms and PRAY to get through the other one tonight but my back is saying up mine.

Let me know if ya wanna see pics, been missing ya'll. Ya'll really are my friends. I love every single one of you to pieces. Thank you for being you and coming to share things with us.

When we all share pics I get all caught up in it like we are sitting around the living room having coffee, looking at pics and laughing... so not like me. Im not an internet person.

I sure am a YALL person though and well... ya just rock dammit :!:

Ooh yes please! Pics are soo fun!

I love your house, so much bigger than mine. I have a wee 2 bedroom 1 bathroom place. Its so tiny but we fit so its OK.

Thats so nice of Heather to send a package.

Keeping busy is good, just dont forget you can always let go with us. We care about each other not just their pets!

I know what you mean about not being an internet person, I never used the computer before and I only went online to find out things for Datsun, then I found this forum and I MUST check it everyday, two-ten times per day

James says I am a forum-aholic.... I think hes right!

We have soooo many youngens, we have to have a big enough house to seperate them all and ourselves or we would go MAD.

I dont plan to have a big house as the kids leave. Something more charming and warm about a small house.

I'll post pics tomorrow!
