What do your IRNs do in the morning
I'm just curious what yours do? I cover mine at night and when I get them up in the moring they both act very differently. It's pretty funny actually. They really remind me of children with how different their personalities can be. I get Milo-my tiel-up first. He's usually up on the perch he sleeps on and very readily climbs down for a good morning scritch. Then I get Byndi up. He's also on his perch with one foot hanging on to the bar of the cage. He just kind of looks at me and I'm saying good morning to him very sweetly and then I get in his cage and get his food and water to change. While I'm in the kitchen he begins his morning vocalization. He just screams and screams. Not loud annoying screams, I just think he's saying good morning. But when I come back into the room with his food he stops. Then I get Remmi up. Remmi strikes me as a teenage boy. He just sits there and looks dazed. Like he can't believe it's morning already. He doesn't move. It's quite funny. I get into his cage and get his food and water bowls and go back into kitchen and Byndi starts his good morning calls again. When I'm out in the kitchen I'm saying good morning to all of them. Then when I go back into the living room Byndi stops and Remmi is still sitting on his perch looking dazed. By the time I'm ready to leave for work Remmi is finally moving and has gone down to his food bowls and Byndi is usually still chatting away. Just curious what your babies do in the mornings. Now on the weekends when they get to "sleep in" and aren't gotten up quite as early, they are both as active and ready for the world. Please share how your babies are in the mornings with me. Thanks. Sorry this is so long. But...

Chook wakes up, makes his contact call until i get him from the curtain rail and take him back to my bed. he will then sleep for another hour under the covers until my alarm clock goes off. then he will angrily got 'ra ra ra' at the alarm clock and climb off the bed and into the shower and waits for me to follow him....

Kai use to chatter and talk and then start calling at the wild birds. But either he is very settled now, or in such a bad mood from the full on horrible molt he is going through right now, that he is very!!! quiet in the mornings and really doesn't make a peep until I wake him up by taking of his blankets.
I have been using the quiet time in the mornings before my children are up, to talk to Kai with his blankets still on, I heard they learn to copy words better when they are still covered, no distractions etc.
Jordan, she is rather quiet too, but she is still just a peeping baby really, only just started making noticeable ringneck sounds.
I wonder if once Jordan gets going they will wake each other up
Jordan is in my sons room and Kai is in our second lounge room.
Spinnergirl !! are you the same spinnergirl as on The Perch boards ? Just wondering

Killer vid, Mikaela. ^^
Hane never yells in the morning. Hane is a very quiet bird. Tsume will only really yell right after you take him out of his cage- when you're standing right next to him. I assume he's happy to be out and knows food is coming soon, lol.
Hane is like my dog, they both sleep in if I do. Hane just plays quietly until I get up, then waits patiently for me to return. He's cool like that.
Tsume isn't my bird, so if he starts yelling I can just close the door to my sister's room and we're all happy, lol. His is getting better, he never gets attention for his yelling.
