Hand problems

Hey guys,

I have a blue IRN and she's only still very young. My family and I all give her loads of love and affection, but what I have notice lately is that with my mum and I our IRN is afraid of our hands. She tries to bite a lot and nibble (sometimes its worse than other times). Except when the men in the family pay her attention she's a completely different bird. They can touch her as much as they like and she doesn't bite..

Is there something me and my mum need to do?
Or is it because she's a young girl and prefers the guys....
