My Bird is making very loud annoying noises

Many birds participate is what is known as the 'morning/dawn chorus'. There is also an 'evening chorus'. It's how they greet the day and how they say goodnight. It is believed it has a lot to do with territory and getting to know neighbors. It is natural and is just part of being a bird.

Fortunately you have a quiet bird! Imagine having a cockatoo or macaw. Not only louder but does both morning and evening choruses!

I have room-darkening curtains where my Hane is, so he wakes up when I get up and open them. Another option is a bird cage cover. This way you won't be awakened until you're ready and you can start the day together.
