WHEN DO THE CHICKS LEAVE THE NEST BOX?

Hi just wondering when the chicks will be coming out of the nest box they are approx 8 weeks have all their feathers apart from the head. The breeding box is sort of the shape of a boot with the hole up the top. Do i open the bottem part to let them out or do they find their way up to the hole? New at this already took the male out as he started plucking them. Thanks
