Oh I hate waiting!!!!!

Post by Datsun and Family »

I really want to go to see The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill but it is not out here yet and I dont think it willl be until next year!

I HATE waiting, I must be the most impatient person alive! Makes me wanna fly over to the states just to go to the movies, but then I also hate planes and leavng Datsun....

Stupid New Zealand! Always a day ahead but oh so slow!
I downloaded the trailer and have watched that like 6 times, it looks like a great doco 8)

If anyone has seen it please just tell me its crap or I will be flying over and staying with you! Anyway tell me everything and anything because I m home alone with no Datsun (she had a date with a friend) and I feel lost without her. Also if anyone doesnt know the movie I am talking about download the trailer.... soooooo cute! Heres the link: http://www.wildparrotsfilm.com/index.html

Chamon,
I haven't seen it myself. I live in a stupid little city that would never bother to bring anything like that to the local theaters. But my niece has seen it. My entire family lives in California. And she said it was AMAZING. She said it brought her to tears a few times. But her words were AMAZING. Sorry, didn't want to lie to you. Besides, you'd be wasting your time to jet here, you wouldn't be able to see it. But you could help me with Byndi! Tee hee.

Hugs,
Jen

AMAZING, yep I can imgine it would be too. I think watching it will make me feel less crazy and weird... however it may start up my GGMB syndrome again (Gotta Get More Birds)

You are so lucky to have a partner who actually THINKS. My Hubby doesn't get ideas until they are bashed over his head!! I love my caveman though.

Yeah hes not bad  Actually James is amazing, he never gets annoyed with me bringing things (birds, rats, hedgehogs, cats, you name it...) home and he loves our "family" as much as I do no matter how feathered or furry it is. He supports us through fleas, mites, ticks..... and even a case of ringworm EWWWWW!

Anyway I LOVED The Parrots of Telegraph Hill, it made me cry like a baby and laugh and snort (I am all class!) I had the BEST time and it was in the cutest little cinema with lazy boy chairs 8)

AND I was right! GGMB has taken hold, gotta get a new prescription!

Out of my mailbox straight to you dear:

The Oasis Sanctuary (Benson, Arizona), is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization and does not sell or breed birds, nor offer birds for adoption. The Oasis Sanctuary is very excited to announce that they are able to take pre-release orders for The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill DVD! The DVD is scheduled for release on December 27, but if you pre-order from The Oasis, you will get them before the holidays!

In July 2005 Mark Bittner and Judy Irving (producer of the film) visited The Oasis to film Mark's first reunion with Mingus and his Telegraph Hill friends Andi and Yosemite since they arrived at the Sanctuary in 1999. The Oasis was given eight minutes of footage in the Bonus Features included in the DVD!

Pre-order your DVD today ... just $22 plus $3.85 shipping (order several and pay no extra shipping for DVD's sent to the same address)! Print out the attached order form and mail it to the address on the form. Or call Charlotte at (602) 863-1543 to give your credit card information. Pre-ordered DVD's will be shipped on approximately December 10. Orders must be received by The Oasis no later than December 16 in order to be delivered before December 25.

I dont think hes too bad

Angie, you soooo have to see it, its beautiful, funny, sad, ugly, scary....... man i could go on and on......

EVERYONE MUST SEE THIS DOCUMENTARY!!!!!!

I want me some Cherry Headed Conures! Toooo cute!!

I know I will work with birds for the rest of my life, whether it be breeding, rescues, education, conservation.... I dont know but I do know there will be birds involved. Everyday I am fascinated by Datsun, and all the birds I see and I just feel like they are so under-rated and missunderstood... OK enough of the crazy talk!

Oooh I might be looking after a Grey over Christmas!!!!!! I am sooo excited! I have wanted one for forever and this will be my chance to trial run it! Oh my goodness it will be a challenge!

Thanks for not getting pissed Chamon, I wasnt sure how you were going to take my compliment but I can see you are every bit as cool as I thought you were. 8)

American girls often dislike you telling them their man is a cutie. I dont know why, I dont mind hearing it from other girls about my man. Perhaps they feel intimadated. I dont know but American girls are VERY catty with the exception of a VERY few.

You'll see how many are or arent by how they react to this post. The defensive ones are the guilty ones.

My take on men is very simple: If you can take him, have him because I sure dont need him, in light of that fact.

Also, men are like buses... a new one comes along about every 15 minutes if you are standing in the right place. :D No sweat off my brow.

I heard that about american girls from my ex. scary.. Then again he wasnt great either. typical american boy.
for someone so smart he was pretty stupid dumping me :P
Sorry, what was that about free therapy?? *jk*

I have always been and will always be a bird person. These tiny mobile poop factories amaze me constantly and infuriate me frequently. I love sticking my face in a soft feathery back and having them make kissy noises at me
