Too young for bluffing stage?

Hi Everyone,

Datsun is not quite 3 months old, we have had him for around a month and have spent 1 week of that on holiday during which time he was birdsat by a friend.

He was good for them but got a little nippy on the last couple of days. When we got him home he was the same... not naughty but just grumpy and biting a bit which he never used to do.

Is he just telling us hes upset coz we left him?

Does he need more time to settle back in?

Or is this the start of the bluffing stage?

Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated.
