Hi everyone.
I am the proud adoptive father of an 11 year old female Indian ringneck named Cody. I also have a 17-year old male Lutino cockatiel named Gizmo and an 8 year old Senegal parrot named Maggie.
I just found this site while searching and found some of the information quite interesting. I'll be checking out the rest of the forums soon.

Hi Jeff and welcome to IRN forum.
There sure is HEAPS of info here if you don't mind searching and reading. lol
17 yo cockatiel, that's a great old age, must be doing something right
. I also have an old man Lutino tiel, about the 13-14 age mark.
Senegal parrots look like a lovely bird. How are they as pets?

The tiel is definitely an old man. He's partially blind. He only sees shadows above him and he's usually grumpy any other time.
Senegals make great pets. Mine is a great talker and learns words easily. She (at least i think it's a she) is very affectionate and playful but most of the time she just wants to sit with you and listen to you talk or whistle. When she's bad she tries to pick a fight with the ringneck and usually wins. They hate being next to each other but the can't stand being separated in different rooms.
