Not good

I only just moved the new pair out to the aviary last weekend and yesterday the hen was found dead in the nest box

I checked her over and it doesn't appear to be any thing wrong that I can see. She looked like she was in a comfortable position in the box. There was signs that she was nesting but nothing else I could find. Any ideas to what it could be would be muchly appreciated.

Hi Julie----sorry to hear about that.Was that the hen you got just a few weks ago?.
Hard to say what might have happened her.Spider bite or something?Dont really know just a suggestion.

Hi Greg, yes it was my new hen. The male seems to be ok and I cant find anything in the aviary that could hurt her.
