Hello! I am new to this, but I am asking if someone can please answer me.
I have an IRN and his feathers are growing back well enough for him to fly very well. I hate to do it, but I am thinking of getting his wings clipped again. I do not want him to fly away, or to get hurt flying around the house.
Is this cruel, or is it common to have their wings clipped???

It means nothing, If you were to clip his wings then do so.
You need to understand that because humans already done
the cruel part like keeping them as pets, As long as you take
care of the bird & show it peace you should be perfectly fine.
My birds wings are currently clipped, They are starting to grow
back & will stay forever.![Big Grin :D](./images/smilies/4.gif)

Yea, Like i said its ok to clip the wings only if youbec wrote:ive havent ever clipped my birds wings but my desision was based on other members of my household (cats) rather than if i was cruel i dont think it is cruel at all when done properly
and it can aid in taming your bird quicker
its personal choice
treat the bird the way they should be treated.
(No abuse, No screaming at it and the list goes on)
Wing clipping?????
I would never abuse or holler at my baby. Even when he screeches. He is just a bird and would not understand. Maybe enough to dislike me very much.
