Welcome to the family.

If you search the forum using the search button at the top, using keywords like, taming, wild, training, even "help" will bring up hundreds of previous topics with answers to this very common question.

Basically, it will take time, patients and dedication. My first suggestion if you are serious, is to clip both the wings, keep the cage she is in around you, in the main living room, so that she gets use to you as her new flock. Offering treats and slowly over time gaining her trust. Leave the cage open (once she is clipped) and let curiousity have her venture out to you. Every bird even really tame will lunge and protect their cage.

Some (with wilder birds) have used a swadling technique. Wrapping the bird in a cloth and holding it for a while, attempting to give it treats and even pet its head while swaddled.

No matter how you handle this, It will take time, alot of time (6 - 12 monts depending on how wild) before you see good progress.

Hope this helps.
