well my bonding process with numpty my sexy green irn has reached its irst milestone....he actually landed on my leg on saturday because i was eating an apple( which he goes mad for) and i broke him off a piece which he ate on my leg.considering he flies away when anyone approaches the cage,this is pretty pleasing.he has landed on me twice again since then,and although i have to stay perfectly still,i feel this is a good breakthrough. by the way i think it has perked him up as well because he has been continuously warbling chirping and yapping since then!!

I know how exciting it can be, especially if you have put many hours and dedicated time to a bird that just will not open up.
