is it just me or has anyone else noticed a lot of similarities between rainbow lorries and irn's , just the way they stand at times, especially the way they get a hop up and move forward, the way they move and hold their heads etc , and theres the size and length of tail and just their character in general at times
Could or have they been bred together that anyone knows of

I can't say I agree. My girlfriend has an olive rainbow lori and Bundy is totally different to my ringies. Bundy "hops" around like a mad bird, swings off things, stick her forked tongue in every hole she can find, she crawls up into your lap and lays on her back like a little puppy dog or kitten, loves you to grab her and wrestle around. She shoots watery poo in every direction she pleases and sounds nothing like the ringies. Actually she sounds like some husky nasally duck quacking. She eats stupid powdered egg and biscuits mix in water that ends up like glue all over everything, No long tail, no ring, sharper longer top mandible .... sooo ummm .. not to sound mean .. but no, not in my opinion.
Deano, when you say your ringy gets the hop up and moves forward, maybe you are describing a typical male behaviour there
I kinda get where the male ringy dance and moves could look somewhat like the lorries arching neck movements.

I agree with kyria about the characteristics and I wouldn't be trying to breed them together either.
yes i agree to that the lorrie is no way the same as a ringie the lorrie walks like groucho marx nothing like the irns.the lorries play a lot diffrent as well squeal a lot, they sleep laying on there backs,(well mine does) and yes the poo is wet very wet and lots of it they are always licking you with that funny tounge as well it is a funny feeling when they do it not like the ringies they just like to snuggle ,i have both but i think ringie is the best
