If you are offering other food for Powder to try (fruit, veg and seed etc), then he may be trying those and begining to wean himself. I found that around the age of 6 weeks my babies started to take less formula.

I would keep trying to give formula as well as offer fruit /veg etc.

They do need to drop weight in the wild so they can take flight eventually so I believe this is what Powder is going through, his natural instinct. :)

Is there something wrong with her beak? Don't mean to be mean or something, but it looks strange to me..?

Ah okay! In the second pic it seems as if the lower part of the beak is growing over the upper part? Don't know of that's the case, but if it is, it might be a good idea to take him to a vet, and let them check this.. otherwise the beak might keep growing wrongly and the lower part of the beak might abrade (don't know if that's the right word, sorry) the upper beak?

yes the lower beak is over the top and i have had him/her to the vet they do not know if it will grow back out or not, they do not know if there is nerve damage or not ) but we are working with powder to hold the beak right where to top part is over the bottom. i'm doing what th vet is suggesting and i have been trying to get the money up to have a fake tip put on but everytime i get close something has came up.

Okay! Wel then it will be okay I guess :) As long as he can eat, it won't damage him so much I think.
