Should the nestbox be removed during off-season?

I have been noticing that both my IRNs are not roosting inside the nestbox. Should I remove the nestbox during the off-season? I house my birds outside in a walk-in aviary. By removing the nestbox during the off-season, will this encourage mating during the breeding season? I will be placing the nestbox back during the breeding season, of course :wink:

yep, take the nesting boxes out until breeding season.
