Have I realy a male?

I read in an swedish homepage that male ringneck have a pink ring "under" the darkblue one, Watto hasen´t got it so is he a female or a male?
I feel like a complete fool again :oops:

It depends what color your bird is and the age, they don't start showing signs of a ring until their at least 2 years old, If your bird is a blue mature male he will have a white ring where the pink is on a green bird.

Thank you and yes he has a white ring were the pink one should be, It would be a shame to rename him again
