Gender confusion?

Hey everyone, I haven't posted in such a long time, but I have a question for you all.
Indie is my blue IRN, he/she is going on 22 months old.
I have always thought of Indie as a boy, but I am now wondering if maybe Indie is a girl.
My question is this.....
I have seen him doing his dance to his toys and I have seen him strut around as if he is a male quite often. However recently when ever he is with my husband he acts like a total female, so I am very confused and wonder if he is as well. Is this common?
He looks like he is starting to go into a molt, I was really looking forward to maybe seeing some black feathers, but now I don't think I will see them.

any ideas? Suggestions, or thoughts. I am still hoping he is male, but at 22 months old, shouldn't his ring start to be coming in? And what is up with the gender confusion that he portrays?

i know what you mean when i first saw gerneral in the shop i thought girl for sure but since i got him home he acts more like kieron
but then hell look at me and do girly things i think they just like to keep us guessing til there is no doubt to their gender
