Two's Company?

Post by nhfid »

Currently our flock includes a very feisty, bad boy but lovable type, Mango.

Our flock has an chance to gain a new very gentle, sweet, yes actually pettable (if thats a word) Lutino member.

The question is, must we keep them separate??? Cages, perches, portable cases??? Is there a chance they might get along??? Approx same age, 8 and 7 months...

Thanks

Bill, Judi, Lauren, Jill, Mango.

There is always a chance they would get along, but it's best not to bank on it, lol.

As any rate, I'm sure you'll have a separate cage for the new one's quarantine.

To keep the new one a pettable pet, it would likely be best if she is kept separate anyway. Once they bond to one another, they're not very friendly to us flightless giants. :? Much easier to have a tame bird when you keep them separate. Our birds live separately, but share the playstand. :)

I've been called 'birdbrained' before, but somehow I don't think this is what they meant. say:hah-nay
