Spray bottle vs tub bath!!

By tub I mean bird sized tub.. haha..
Ok now yes I could put the vacuum on daily but I don't, I usually just use the hand held vac. around the birds cages and that doesnt' have the same affect.
If I were to get my bird (who I have named now!!! 'Pippin') used to the spray could I use it daily on him?? Would it be just as good as a tub bath or should I still try and aim for that on a weekly basis?
(He wont bath without the vacuum on)
I want him to keep his feathers nice as he's so beautiful so this concerns me right now in my grand scheme of him.

Hi there, i find Amazon loves having a shower with me, i eased him into it by letting him sit near teh water and drink it then he got more keen to get in the water adn now he sits on the bottom of the shower.

He hates cold water so thats means the hose so i cant use that.

I guess whatever works it works.

I would let Pippin explore different ways of bathing himself. As long as he has a bath on a regular basis, say twice a week is great.. once a week will do I think? he should be lookin goood. :lol:

Yoda seems to bath every second day, loves showers with me and dunking himself in our green birdie tub, and Jibby once or twice a week, hes a little stubborn with bathing, he only likes his green tub ontop of the cage. They both hate the spray bottle.
I don't vacuum everyday either and my 2 love to bath when the vacuum is on. Its the weirdest thing that most birds do this. I wonder what it is about vacuuming? haha

this week both the fids have decided that both the bath & the bottle are good but with the bottle they both have certain ways to have the spray kieron only likes it above him in a light spray like its raining on him & only a few sprays riku likes this too but when shes realy hot she l9ikes the spray to be pumped out really fast and to get absoluty soaked its riku also tells which shes in the mood for by her reaction to the question "who wants squirts?" if she sits quietly at the front of the cage she wants the gentle shower if she talks and spins around on the perchshe want the fast &total soaking and when shes had enough she squawks once then flys off a couple of times today she asked for a shower by getting my attention then talking & spinning as soon as i was watching i cant say i blame her its a great way to cool down in this heat!!!!!
